Baby Einstein

OH MY GOD, my child is a GENIUS.

In her crib, there is a little lion-head thing with a blue tail that I introduced her to last week. When you pull the tail, it plays this ridiculous reggae version of Lullabye and Goodnight, which she seems to enjoy.

Just now, I heard the sweet strains of that song coming out of her room. Do you know what that means? It means that -- at a mere 3 months of age, and after only about a week of exposure to it -- she has figured out HOW TO PULL THE LION'S TAIL TO MAKE MUSIC COME OUT.

I have never been prouder of anything in my entire life. THAT'S WHY I CAN'T STOP USING CAPS LOCK and bold text. It's all I can do to restrain myself from using one thousand exclamation points right now.

AAAH! She just pulled it again! Harvard, here we come.

Funny Paddy! I know the Ryan's appreciated it when you taught their little twin girls to pull your finger!

Meggie: Do you realize how lucky you are? This behavior indicates that your child will be able to AMUSE HERSELF! Always a plus. You may never have this conversation:
Trixie: "I'm bored."
You: "only boring people get bored."
