Baby Einstein

OH MY GOD, my child is a GENIUS.

In her crib, there is a little lion-head thing with a blue tail that I introduced her to last week. When you pull the tail, it plays this ridiculous reggae version of Lullabye and Goodnight, which she seems to enjoy.

Just now, I heard the sweet strains of that song coming out of her room. Do you know what that means? It means that -- at a mere 3 months of age, and after only about a week of exposure to it -- she has figured out HOW TO PULL THE LION'S TAIL TO MAKE MUSIC COME OUT.

I have never been prouder of anything in my entire life. THAT'S WHY I CAN'T STOP USING CAPS LOCK and bold text. It's all I can do to restrain myself from using one thousand exclamation points right now.

AAAH! She just pulled it again! Harvard, here we come.

next thing she will learn is that if she pulls my finger a fart will come out....after she learns that its all down hill

Funny Paddy! I know the Ryan's appreciated it when you taught their little twin girls to pull your finger!

Meggie: Do you realize how lucky you are? This behavior indicates that your child will be able to AMUSE HERSELF! Always a plus. You may never have this conversation:
Trixie: "I'm bored."
You: "only boring people get bored."

With parents like you two how could she NOT be a genius??? :)

You might be missing a larget message, a troubling message, you say the lion plays Raggae, perhapse she has started down that road to Dreadloks and smoking dope.

What a cutie! Its amazing how fast they learn. Savour the moment, it will be the first of many!

hey meggie... have you ever heard the bit david cross does on parents who discover this kind of genius in their children? i'll send you an mp3.
