Rebuilding my Backend

One morning, during the two weeks that Jeremy was on maternity leave with me, he sat down in front of his computer -- in his pajamas -- and didn't get up for about, I dunno, seven hours. And what was he doing, you ask? He was pretty much rebuilding the guts of my site -- making it all CSS-ified, cleaning up the code, adding a search box and links to categories (see them off to the left there?) and all kinds of other deliciously nerdy things that make me want to make out with him in the romantic glow of a computer monitor. Big ups to poppa Wilker!

I'm now in the process of trying to categorize all my old posts so that someday you'll be able to click on them and see a whole list of posts about my hair or my drunken single days or whatever strikes your fancy.

I'm also tweaking the spam settings on my comments. So, if you post a comment and it doesn't show up, let me know. Almost every comment that has been made on my site in the past two days has ended up in the Junk folder sandwiched between messages about poker, Viagra, and ringtones.

That is all.
