Baby Genius

Shrimpy passed this morning's assessment test with FLYING COLORS.

They checked 5 things, each one worth two points:
- fetal breathing
- fetal tone
- gross body movement
- amniotic fluid volume
- fetal heart rate

The first four items on the list were checked via ultrasound; the last involved them attaching monitors to my belly and watching for twenty minutes to make sure that the baby's heart rate went up and down in relation to it moving around.

They also checked my blood pressure which, as usual, was so low it's a wonder I can even walk around.

We scored a 10 out of 10, and I'm allowed to keep waiting. Boo-ya! If baby still isn't here by Friday morning (God forbid), I go in for another assessment.

Good to see you are still "Ace"ing tests and fucking up the bell curve for everyone else.....Plus, YAY...... way to start her off right.....Shrimpy's first perfect score.
Remember...tomorrow is the day.

I'm glad the baby is doing well! Here's hoping he/she comes before Friday!!!

I'm so excited I don't know what to do with myself. Nora called me with the news about SHRIMPY when I was getting out of my Rock n' Roll class (honestly--we listen to music and talk about it). Apparently you had the baby when I was in Spanish class--that is a sign that SHRIMPY will be good at Spanish. I just spoke with Grammy--she told me that SHRIMPY was sucking on her fists and has fuzzy dark hair. Fuzzy Junior?

Updates please!!

Congratulations!!!! I can't wait to hear all about her!

Rita told me on the way out of work today that you have a little girl. You've managed your best project ever! Mucho congratulations, dear.
Pix, please!
