A Way With Words
One of the many reasons I love my husband is the unexpectedly delightful things that come out of his mouth sometimes. For example:
"You know how you're always complaining that you think your stomach is fat? Well, maybe, if you end up having to have a C-section, you could have them like, take care of that while they're in there."
I'm sorry, what? Did you just suggest that I could get liposuction at the same moment I am having emergency surgery to deliver our child?
You had me at hello.

Posted by: Nora on Tue Nov 15, 2005 | ReplyOne of the women I work w/ had that done. She said it was the best thing ever...have a baby...get a mini tummy tuck. What more could you ask for.
Posted by: Megan on Tue Nov 15, 2005 | ReplyI asked my doctor about "fixing me up a little" when I scheduled my first c-section, and she said that she wouldn't do it. The second time I had a c-section, I asked again and that time she just rolled her eyes at me. Maybe it had something to do with Marty's constant questions about "scrubbing in" as her backup...

Just in case it's a boy, a little invaluable info: www.circumcisionquotes.com
Best of Luck!
when i got my jaw broke they pulled my wisdom teeth....i really dont see much of a difference.
Posted by: spud on Tue Nov 15, 2005 | ReplyThe little man was breech, so I had to have a c-section. But a mini tummy tuck? Had no idea. I feel cheated!
(Actually, this creeps me out more than a little.)

Posted by: Atomic on Wed Nov 16, 2005 | Replygenius. i wonder if i can convince a doctor i'm pregnant?
Posted by: chuck on Thu Nov 17, 2005 | Replyif it's part of a medical procedure such as a birth, is that covered under insurance?

Posted by: cynthia on Fri Nov 18, 2005 | ReplyOk, I've had all mine vaginally but this time around if I could get a tummy tuck too I might go the other route! LOL I loved the "you had me at hello". I've missed reading you since my computer has been on the blink... :)
