A Way With Words

One of the many reasons I love my husband is the unexpectedly delightful things that come out of his mouth sometimes. For example:

"You know how you're always complaining that you think your stomach is fat? Well, maybe, if you end up having to have a C-section, you could have them like, take care of that while they're in there."

I'm sorry, what? Did you just suggest that I could get liposuction at the same moment I am having emergency surgery to deliver our child?

You had me at hello.

they refer to this as a C Tuck, its all the rage in Hollywood

Who DOESN'T deserve a little plastic surgery reward after delivering a child? I plan on getting a rhinoplasty as I push out a baby.

One of the women I work w/ had that done. She said it was the best thing ever...have a baby...get a mini tummy tuck. What more could you ask for.

I asked my doctor about "fixing me up a little" when I scheduled my first c-section, and she said that she wouldn't do it. The second time I had a c-section, I asked again and that time she just rolled her eyes at me. Maybe it had something to do with Marty's constant questions about "scrubbing in" as her backup...

Don't even know HOW I ended up reading your site, but I'm already excited about your baby! (it's my clock ticking in the background)

Just in case it's a boy, a little invaluable info: www.circumcisionquotes.com
Best of Luck!

when i got my jaw broke they pulled my wisdom teeth....i really dont see much of a difference.

The little man was breech, so I had to have a c-section. But a mini tummy tuck? Had no idea. I feel cheated!

(Actually, this creeps me out more than a little.)

I relayed that comment to my wife and she agreed that I would say something so tasteless. You are a lucky woman.

genius. i wonder if i can convince a doctor i'm pregnant?

if it's part of a medical procedure such as a birth, is that covered under insurance?

*ponders*

Ok, I've had all mine vaginally but this time around if I could get a tummy tuck too I might go the other route! LOL I loved the "you had me at hello". I've missed reading you since my computer has been on the blink... :)
