Rockalong
I've been finishing a fair amount of knitting projects lately, but haven't had time to post about them (twelve-hour workdays, working on the weekends, house projects - it's been nuts!).
I'll start with the project I finished a while ago - a scarf for my sailor brother, Patrick (modeled by Jeremy).

I found the sign o' the devil chart online, but I can't find the original site now, or I'd give her credit. The rest of the scarf pattern I just made up, with a garter stitch edge and a stockinette stitch body. Rumor has it that Pat likes the scarf - hopefully he'll send some photos (hint, hint).

OH! 12 hour work days! i feel so bad you poor thing. Ifeel so bad for you because i dont wake up at 6 am to this old southern turn yelling at us to get out of our racks! and than i dont work untill 1600, than i totally dont get stuck with rotating watches at night that add about 4- 5.5 hours to my work day! than i have to figure out time to read, write for my class, and just be the super pimp that i am.
seriously none of that happens to me.......EVER!
lookit the mcnugget -- all grown up and bitching about serving his country.
that's cute.
Is that the chicken pot pie guy?
the mcnugget. . . stop it. . . you're killin' me! I didn't realize it was Paddy because everything was spelled right. Until he said "old southern turn (turd?) . . . yelling at us to get out of our racks." Amazing. Guess that writing class is working!
