Sticks and Skeins

Hey, go check out a copy of Stitch & Bitch Nation - there's a directory of local yarn shops in the back, and I contributed two reviews (Crafty Planet and Needlework Unlimited). My name's in there and everything!

I was sort of reluctant to purchase the book - I don't know why. Maybe some kind of snobbish prejudice against the hipster knitting scene? I don't know...but the book is really cool (and now of course, I want the first one!). There are several projects I really want to make - like the fuzzy bear hat with little ears on it! Or the neckwarmer! Or the sexy sweater! Or the boob tube! Or the butterfly scarf!

You get the point.

since you contributed to the book, you should get a free copy.. and the Fuzzy Bear Hat isn't quite as cool as Lains outfit.

OMG, that totaly rocks, I like the other ear hat... the one with the cat ears and ear flaps to keep the real ones warm. Congrats on getting you're name in that! I've seen the book recomended in several places, including my Bust mag.
