Travel Journal: Italy, Day 2
It's like 9:00am here, but of course my body thinks it's about 2:00am. Landed in Rome just a bit ago, now we're at Gate A18 waiting for the Palermo flight to board and make room for the Pisa people (us).
I have already taken note of very many attractive people around here. You know, attractive in that stereotypical Italian way. I'm also noticing a great many odd-looking people, though. Frankly, I thought Americans had a lock on looking trashy, but it turns out we've got competition.
The flight was good; I got to watch Finding Nemo. The only downside was that I couldn't sleep AT ALL, so in a few hours I will probably be completely out of whack.
I just boarded my first plane from outside with that foldout stair thingy like in the movies! I've always wanted to do that. Jeremy took a picture. Which reminds me...when I'm being a tourist I get self-conscious. Like, I don't want anyone to know I'm a tourist so I try to play it off like I'm really cool and have seen the place a million times. But, maybe this trip I'll just be a tourist. And not even hide it.
