Scootin' North

The world looks better from the back of a scooter.

Last night, Jeremy and I met Matt & Annette for dinner on the roof at Joe's Garage. We rode the Kymco through Uptown; I wore a long scarf just to be Hollywood. Dinner was lovely, the weather was perfect, and a good time was had by all. I really need to get my motorcycle license and save my pennies to buy me a Stella in a few months. There's just something about scooting around town with a scarf trailing behind you and the stars up above...

Tonight, it's off to scenic Wisconsin and the Labor Day pleasures of The Beach Resort with the tribe. Rumor has it we're going sailboating on Sunday. I also plan to do nothing. A lot of nothing. For three whole days. See you Tuesday.

damn, nothing sounds awfully good right now. so does sailing, for that matter.

Just be careful how long that trailing scarf is... Isadora Duncan died that way, you know.

Not to be morbid or anything.

Wha?! Seriously?

Oh my, I Googled that, and it's true. Her veil got caught in her automobile's wheel.

Will be more careful with my Hollywood-ness here on out...
