Yeah, I was behind Dean until I kept reading that people in VT claimed he's way too conservative ... particularly on environmental issues. So, I'm back with boring but politically connected Gephardt.

It don't matter none, though. The Democrats have no unifying, edifying message and Bush has no GOP contenders to fight. So Bush will win because he's the incumbent and because of the war shit.

Yay Kucinich! I really hope he has more than a snowball's chance. I too was disappointed to learn that Dean was not as liberal as he has portrayed himself, but he is still the most viable candidate to emerge thus far. A lot can change before November...

BTW, I love the On This Day link to your archived posts! I may just have to steal that idea....
