It's People!

These are a few of my favorite things:

Friendster. It's people! People I tell you! I have no idea why I'm so obsessed with this little beta. Maybe, like Blogshares, it will wane. Maybe, like the Spice Girls, it will not. Too early to tell.

Love: Even when it needs a haircut, love is a wonderful thing.

Peppermint Bon-Bon ice cream: Last night, I purchased cones at Lund's. Know what that means? It means tonight I'm having a Peppermint Bon-Bon ice cream cone!
UPDATE: I totally ate a cone at like 11:30pm, even though Oprah has warned me against late-night eating time and time again. But, I wanted it in my mouth! And it was good. And I usually don't eat that late. Stop judging me, Oprah!

Good friends: The good ones, they're priceless.

Good books: And once I finish that, it's on to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban! (I like to stay a few paces behind trends...the lines are shorter.) Plus I have THREE burdensome books to read, too! Hopefully my slavedriving boyfriend will give me a break from working on his house so that I can lay on a blanket and get some leisure reading done this summer!

Netflix: I like finding Harold & Maude in my mailbox. But what's up with Aguirre: The Wrath of God being so late?

Finding Nemo: I laughed until I cried, I screamed until I damaged Jack's hearing, I covered my eyes at the scary parts, and I spilled popcorn down my shirt. Again! Again!

That is all. Be gone.

nope. not happening. i can't believe that i just read the title of a herzog film in one of your posts. i'm watching Invincible tonight. have you seen the documentary that herzog did about his relationship with kinski? it's called My Best Fiend. amazing.

I've never heard of the Burdensome Books... they look awesome.

well, craig -- don't be too impressed yet! when i watch it, it will be the first film of herzog's i will have seen. i'll let you know what i think.

grid: the books are actually called "a series of unfortunate events" and i think you'd love them. they're some of the most humorous children's books i've ever read, and they're an easy read -- they only take a couple of hours. they're good for reading out loud on car trips, too. helps keep the driver entertained!

Good.. So i'm not the only Friendster addict out there.. Kind of a funny site but I love it - and its turnin into all the rage out here... ;)

Huh? Sorry, can't hear you.

Fortunately I got a blind person to read it to me off the monitor...

Don't forget, I was laughing so hard I squeezed the plastic top off the glass and whoosh.....I spewed 3/4's of a large Diet Pepsi all over myself and 3 other empty rows.

I had my own animated movie going there for a second...Ice Cold Tsunami In My Pants the Movie

Hmmm... would perhaps some of these books be available from the irish-girl library?

i realy want to be freinds with u
