My mom sent me an email yesterday in which she spelled my name wrong. Twice.

funny story, actually:

my whole life i've been told my middle name is Clare. but, when i got a copy of my birth certificate a few years ago, it was spelled Claire on the form. when i told me dad he said, "I knew I shouldn't have let your mother take care of that."

so maybe she just has a recurring spelling problem.
