Only Boring People Get Bored.

I'm sitting here contemplating packing my workout bag and going to bed at a decent hour so as to increase my chances of being at the gym at 6:30am, and I realize I'm bored.

Sitting on your computer and being bored feels wrong. Like sitting at Old Country Buffet complaining of hunger. I could be reading any newspaper in the world, researching the GRE, or finding simple instructions on how to create dirty bombs. Instead, I'm dorking around on my own site and reading the same blogs over and over. Because the thing I enjoy most about the Internet is not the information, but the people. Am I Alanis Morissette or is that ironic?

In other news, further proof of my theory that soon every American will have been on a reality show: I'm 99% sure that I had some classes at the U with Melissa M. on Joe Millionaire.

If you're bored, ma'am, why not try playing Tijuana Stud Poker? All you need are four players, a table, and a pack of cards. Oh yeah, and a bull. Set up your poker game in a field. The winner is the last player to leave his seat after the bull charges and tosses the table. It's just about the funnest thing you do with a card game.

"the thing I enjoy most about the Internet is not the information, but the people." So true for me! I dislike most Fridays or the day before a holiday because so few people update their blogs or send email. I usually resort to reading the newspaper on those days, but it just don't cut it for me.
