2002: The Year in Hair

Happy New Year! Want to see what I did? They don't call it New Year's Rockin' Eve for nothing.

As a new year begins, I like to sit back and reflect on the twelve months I've spent with my hair. In 2002, my hair and I have been through a lot: brown, pink, platinum blonde, golden blonde, brown again, red, and black. We've done highlights, all-over color, and innumerable haircuts. I'd like to take a moment to thank Amy at Hair Police, Feria (thanks especially to Crushed Garnet and Starry Night), and my hair. Good ol' hair...they all said you'd fall out, but you stuck by me. Here's to another year, and twelve more colors. And here's to my brand-new black 'do (a la Catherine Zeta-Jones in Chicago).

you know you want me.
...and here's your token webcam shot. My eyeball and my new black hair.

I just realized that you didn't kiss me at midnight.

BITCH.

No way. Because last night, I realized that YOU didn't kiss ME at midnight. I think if we would have seen the ball drop, it might have happened. But instead we saw Uncle Kracker singing off-key...and who wants to kiss to that?

Who's Uncle Kracker?

Black! Black! Black! Yeah!

I hope that you are able to get the other side done as well...or perhaps provide a photo of the other side.

Very nice blog!

I just realize NEITHER of you kissed me at midnight. Damn it.

Aw, come on, I like Uncle Kracker. I'm no stranger to shame. ;)

Is it just me, or does that pic make your eye look like it's somehow misplaced?

i'm really hoping it's just you.
