Congrats on making the jump - I did it some time ago but have recently received a bit of a shock: Herbal Essence is no longer making my shade. Yes, the masses must have deemed it too hideous so they've pulled it. How's *that* for depressing? All this time I thought I had a really cute shade while everyone else was going, "Ew! No, I'm not buying THAT color." Now I'm just living with the black roots because I'm afraid to commit to another shade, lest I choose the wrong one again, sigh!

Also, my sister has recently gone bleach blonde. Very crazy.

Natalie: Try Feria, I love it. Crushed Garnet is the one I tried this time. I'll post a pic as soon as I can, but I don't have a digital camera. However, it would be really nice to get a DIGITAL CAMERA for CHRISTMAS. (God, I hope my mom is reading this.)

Obscure redhead fact: The Italian for "red head" is "testa rossa" (rossa = red as in the red wines and testa = head like in English "testy" meaning headstong.) An early Ferrari automobile had red cylindar heads, hence the name Testarossa.

Feria is my second choice, usually, but the first time I used it the stuff reacted badly to the HE - maybe I'll be safe to try it again. I can't remember the shade but I chose it because the woman on the box looked really vampy with dark red lips...yes, I choose my shade by how sexy the woman on the box is, so shoot me! :-)
