So here's the thing: if

So here's the thing: if all I wanted was to be a millionaire, that would be easy enough to accomplish. There's a known path for achieving a tangible and measurable goal like that. The problem is, I want to be happy and satisfied and there's no real formula for that.

It's like raising kids (I know I don't have any, but bear with me). You know that other people have successfully done it, you know that others have royally fucked up. You also know that no two kids are alike. So, to be the most successful means you have to figure out what works for you and your child and your family (like what William Sears describes in "The Baby Book."). So you have to learn how to listen to your instincts, which is not always the easiest thing to do. What I'm trying to say is that finding your way in life is like raising a baby. Your happiness is your child.

I know this is a half-baked idea, and maybe even a little cheesy. But I don't think it's all wrong...
