They like me...they really like me!
There I was, feeling okay about tonight's slam, but like I was off a little. Just not quite the hostest with the mostest, which is what I aspire to be. But then, several people came up to me and complimented me afterward. One, from the Berkeley slam scene (which I have never witnessed but which I imagine to be a very tight show based on the people I've met from that area), said I was one of the best hosts he'd ever seen.
So, while it's uncool to toot one's own horn, I feel really good about the compliment. Especially because this is only the third slam I've ever hosted. *toot*

Meghan. I really feel you might be carpal tunnel syndrome from excessive horn tooting. Please, for your sake, slow down on the tooting.
