Know what I realized about myself tonight?
That I live each moment in anticipation of the next, instead of enjoying the one I've got.
P.S. I downloaded The Ketchup Song at work today (according to cnn.com it's the "new macarena"), and my co-workers made me do the ketcup dance in the middle of our office. Learn it, do it, love it. Later, we'll all hate it. But for now, enjoy this ketchup moment (see above).

Yeah, the anticipation of the future always promises more the present moment can accomodate.
Maybe it's because, as the poet Randall Jarrell wrote:
It is better to entertain an idea than to take it home to live with you for the rest of your life.
Yeah I'm the same way. And oddly enough, I am happiest when I *am* living in the moment, as rare as those times may be. :) Strange :)
